Joaquin Baca Asay and Lalou Dammond hit the ground running as a team with a pair of gold award-winning spots for Nike. Joaquin brought his striking visual style (DOP on James Gray’s acclaimed “We Own the Night” and “Two Lovers”) and Lalou her skills as a creative producer. In 2006 they teamed up to form a creative partnership that blends the skills of directing, producing, cinematography and photography. They went on to create for some of the most recognized brands in the world and got nominated by the prestigious Directors Guild of America for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Commercials.
